Ara Hampartsoumian - Chief Executive Officer, TBWA\ Group Singapore
Having worked with Andy a few times over the last 15 years, most recently at TBWA\Singapore for 3 years, I can confidently say that he is a multi-talented creative, and a good, caring soul.
Andy has the ability to nurture young talent and inspire them to be open-minded and visionary creatives. He pushes himself and those around him to not accept the acceptable and dream big.
As the creative leader during his time at TBWA, he played a key role in the leadership of the business and was involved in not only the creative product but hiring best-in-class talent, managing the financial aspects of his team, growing the existing business, and bringing in new business. The agency's successes over his tenure, including Creative Agency of The Year 3 times, is something everyone is incredibly proud of.
I wish him all the good things for his bright future ahead.

Shaun McIlrath - Global Chief Creative Officer, Iris Worldwide London
I had the huge pleasure of working with Andy when he was Executive Creative Director of iris New York. The agency was experiencing a management transition and needed one of those rarest of creatures –an inspiring leader who could both calm down and fire up an unsettled creative department. Andy needed to galvanize the existing team, raise standards and morale, whilst going through a period of major change. And he succeeded on all counts. Andy is very generous with his time and his talent. And his ability to listen to, understand and work with people in difficult circumstances marks him out as a very empathetic leader. To do all this and still manage to help them produce better work attests to his skill and determination.
Andy is not an ego, he talks softly and, like all genuinely talented people, lets his work speak for him. This means clients and staff lean into him. They like him and trust him because they know that he means what he says and that he will deliver for them. And he always does. In a world of bombast and hard-sell, Andy stands for substance over sizzle and is, as a result, a breath of fresh air. We are better for having met him. If you are ever lucky enough to get a chance to work with Andy, grab it.

Asheen Naidu - Executive Creative Director, TBWA\ Group Singapore
Look up the word “Creative” in the dictionary and you’ll find Andy’s handsome mug next to it. Andy is the epitome of the modern day creative. Besides his amazing conceptual skills, he is also a master of his craft, easily excelling in any medium. And as if that weren’t enough, his little photography “hobby” has seen his work exhibited in New York and LA.
I’ve been lucky to work with Andy twice. Once as his copywriter and more recently as my ECD at TBWA\Singapore. Both times have been the most exciting and productive of my career. Andy has an infectious enthusiasm for what we do and makes advertising something it hasn’t been for a long while - fun.
As a leader he is both supportive and inspiring. Andy put together an amazing team of creatives, all of whom would willingly follow him into battle. Any agency or brand would be extremely lucky to have him on their team.

Andy’s creative vision is unique, bold, daring and ever-evolving. Under his creative leadership, I learnt to imbibe his incredibly creative outlook not just to work, but to life. He sources inspiration from extraordinary and unexpected places, and it was under his guidance that I learnt how to push the bar for my work every single time. He’s not just an ad creative, creativity is his DNA… it’s his outlook to life. Working with him has been the most fun way to grow, and has shaped my career (and person) in ways I never expected.
This is a boss who rooted for me and pushed me to get out of my comfort zone. He believes ideas can come from anywhere, and champions great ideas no matter who they come from.
His kindness and empathy as a boss made it possible for me to thrive at work even through rough times. There’s much to say about the kind of leader he has been, but to sum it up - any young creative would be lucky to learn from him. Every conversation with him - casual, personal, professional or otherwise, turns into an inspiring learning experience. Andy has been an unforgettable leader… I will be forever grateful to have had the chance to learn from him.

An insightful creative who has the ability to quickly grasp the DNA of a brand and help shape compelling campaigns. Doesn't hurt that Andy has a great sense of humour and sartorial taste to match.

Andy spoils the students with his praises and inspires them with his talent. Each time I invite Andy to give a presentation to our students who are headed to Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, offer feedback on their pitches and submissions, he would say yes in a nano second. He spends his entire afternoon fully present and told us 'next time we should have more time allocated'
Thank you Andy!
Students have benefited from your generosity, be it advice to shape their strategic thinking or suggestions to improve their ideas but most importantly, you have shown them what they should aspire to be when they are in your position some day.

Lesley John - Managing Director - Virtue by Vice, Asia Pacific
Andy is one of the best creatives I've ever worked with. He's of that rare breed that equally adept at conceptualization as well as execution, with a really fine eye for art direction. (And as an art-based creative, he's also written better copy than some writers I know!) He's also of the even rarer breed who can unleash boundless creativity within the confines of the client brief - a fully business and strategically-minded creative with his feet firmly on the ground but his head straining up toward the clouds.
As if that weren't enough, Andy is also tonnes of fun to work with - his energy, positivity and passion for his work is infectious, and the junior creatives very clearly look to him as a role model. Which brings me to mentorship - Andy is a great mentor of junior talent and I truly believe one day will make an excellent ECD.
Andy's not a unicorn. If the Dodo weren't extinct and there was only one left in the world that was an incredibly talented art based creative, Andy would be that Dodo (but a lot smarter looking and a lot more fun on a night out).

What can I say about Andy, except that I have my fingers crossed that we will work together again, and soon. Andy is one of the most talented and dedicated Art Directors I have worked with,
and the sort of person you can't help but breathe a sigh of relief when you find out he's on the team. In a constant pursuit of excellence, no matter how big or small the job is, Andy makes every job better just by doing what he does. The fact that he is probably the most genuine, friendly and entertaining person you will work with is almost a side note. Almost.
